If I had to chose between the old size P vs the C2, it would really be a tough choice. I went with the C2 strictly because the P got the size bump and it seems too big for carry. For me, the shorter grip size was a perfect fit, that made my mind up for the C2 over the old P. Depends who you ask or what research you do, a few people have a lot ... The P definitely feels luxurious compared the C2, but keep in mind the C2 has an aluminum frame so the metal on metal surfaces will feel slightly different than the steel on steel rails of the P.
