Today I started the truck and the heater came on before start and then threw a check engine light. Took it to the dealer and they checked it out, and was the same code as before when the grid heater was replaced.I replaced our 250a fuse once cleared codes and came back. Researched and realized the intake transformer / solenoid for the heater was faulty. A $39 part from Freightliner fixed. Cleared codes and all good. Both are located looking down bath hatch on passenger side left of valve cover.
