Can confirm can get more than 1 character. Did my Warlock and then Titan and able to get a helm for each in about 90 minutes of farming. RNG can just take awhile some times. I get around 1 per 5 runs.

First three runs straight I get exotics-Crest of Alpha Lui, Hallowfire Heart, Severance Enclosure. I've run the sector probably over a dozen times since, no loot at all besides glimmer and the occasional Enhancement Core. Took me 10 runs for one Falling Star, same Lost Sector. Zero other rewards higher than a enhancement core...
